Emergency Reporting Method
When you encounter an emergency, donot panic. Answer the questions slowly.
Emergency reporting method:
1. Dial 119, then request anambulance.
2. State which address theambulance should be sent to. The address must be given to the dispatch in theorder of county, municipality, city, district, road (street) name, section,alley, lane, number, and floor. When the address is not known, tell the dispatcherabout any recognizable landmarks nearby.
3. State the patient’s symptoms,the situation, and what is happening right now.
4. State your (the reporter) nameand telephone number (including extension if applicable), so that if thelocation cannot be found, the dispatcher can contact you to reconfirm.
5. State the age of the patient. Ifthe age is not clear, give a range.
6. Individual cases may requiremore detailed questions and answers. If emergency attention is required, calmlyfollow the instructions of the 119 dispatcher to ensure that precious time isnot wasted.
Note 1: If you cannot get throughto 119, please dial 110 or 112.
Note 2: Take a deep breath and calmdown. Answer the 119 dispatcher’s questions.
